Welcome to the Parent Center page! My name is Maria Guerrero and I would like to welcome you to Gulf Avenue Elementary School! The goal of the parent center is to be a place where parents can get involved with their child's education in various ways. If you are interested please stop by room 4 in the historic brick building and see me. Also, you can call and leave a message for me at 310-835-3157.
Gulf Avenue teachers, staff, parents,and students take pride in their school. Our scores are rising, our students are excelling in every way, our campus is looking sharper than ever, and our parents are volunteering at record numbers! We are an amazing community united in one goal: to provide the best well-rounded education for the whole child.

Why do I need a Parent Portal account?
The LAUSD Parent Portal is your one stop online tool for important information about your child. Through the Parent Portal you are able to view your child's assignments and grades, attendance, test scores, and much more. It is also important to have access to Parent Portal so that you can ensure that the school has your correct contact information. If you need to update your phone number, you can do so through the Parent Portal.
